Funeral for a Friend: Painter

If you are a painter yourself, paint a portrait of your friend. Ask everyone to sign the painting. Mount it on an easel and place it beside the coffin.
Arrange for his/her paintings to be exhibited or displayed around the funeral home viewing room. That way, even if your friend has departed, he/she had still experienced a one-man/woman art exhibit through your help!
Order a flower arrangement in art materials and in his/her favorite color (ie., palette in purple flowers if purple is her favorite, or paintbrush in red roses if red is his/her favorite color).
